Our work
Digital Platforms, Data Intelligence and Connected Technology
Jaguar Computers turns complex operational, regulatory and data requirements into practical systems—from adult social care and public-data intelligence to private online communities.
Our understanding was built inside a working care home—not from the outside looking in.
Jaguar Computers was based in a care home while developing software for a group of three homes, giving us direct experience of the operational pressures and practical needs of care-home teams.
Longest-standing client
John Jackson Bacon
Working together since 1988
Neil Waring began developing software for John Jackson Bacon in 1988. The company continues to use software he developed and remains a current Jaguar Computers client nearly four decades later.
The software has received four major upgrades across four decades, moving with the times while preserving the business knowledge and dependable workflows built up through the relationship.
It is Jaguar's longest client relationship and demonstrates an important part of our work: building dependable business software, understanding the operation behind it, and providing continuity as both the business and its technology change.

Care England
Jaguar Computers has worked with Care England for more than eight years across a range of digital projects, helping translate complex ideas and sector requirements into practical, usable tools.
The partnership combines sector knowledge with hands-on engineering: shaping requirements, structuring data and delivering technology that supports Care England's work with information and intelligence across adult social care.

DHSC & Care Provider Alliance
Jaguar Computers built, hosted and technically administered the Adult Social Care Resilience Survey: Impact of Global Events on Costs and Operations, undertaken by the Care Provider Alliance working with the Department of Health and Social Care.
The questionnaire gathered evidence from adult social care providers about how global events, including developments in the Middle East, were affecting energy, fuel, supplies, staffing and wider operating pressures. Its results supported DHSC resilience monitoring, policy development and planning.
Jaguar delivered the secure survey journey and the operational tools behind it: provider registration, association-aware campaigns, unique questionnaire access, save-and-return responses, campaign monitoring and controlled response exports. The platform was designed to preserve privacy boundaries, with Jaguar acting as the technical data processor rather than using survey information for its own purposes.
Digital partnership and CTO leadership
LaingBuisson
Jaguar Computers was LaingBuisson's digital partner for eight years, working closely with founder and Executive Chairman William Laing. For five of those years, Jaguar Computers founder Neil Waring served as LaingBuisson's CTO.
The work combined technology leadership with hands-on product engineering. It included rebuilding and maintaining the company's data warehouse, creating user-friendly tools for complex market data, and developing online software products including CareSearch, HealthSearch and secure systems supporting consultancy projects.
Care-sector intelligence
SMART Care Intel
SMART Care Intel brings complex care-sector information into a structured platform for intelligence, research and reporting.
Jaguar's work spans data ingestion, matching and normalisation, searchable information, reporting workflows and the engineering needed to keep large, changing datasets useful. The aim is simple: turn fragmented data into evidence people can act on.
Supporting C-CAF
Mock-inspection report analysis
SMART Care Intel supports the Care Consultant Accreditation Framework (C-CAF). Accredited consultants upload their mock-inspection reports into the platform, where the report is analysed in the context of Jaguar's corpus of approximately 129,000 CQC inspection reports.
This gives the C-CAF peer-review process a much wider evidence base for examining the report's findings, regulatory alignment and supporting examples before its review is completed.
Governance and assurance
PGQ Care
PGQ Care transforms care quality and governance processes into clear digital workflows, helping organisations coordinate audits, evidence, responsibilities and improvement work.
Jaguar Computers has helped shape the platform from the original idea into a working system, with organisation-aware access, structured audit programmes and reporting designed for the people responsible for quality across care services.
Care-home operations
Care Home Director
Care Home Director is designed to give care-home leaders a clearer view of operational responsibilities, activity and the work that needs attention.
The platform brings management workflows into one structured environment, with an emphasis on plain language, visible priorities and tools that remain understandable to busy teams.

Jaguar Computers is developing a connected nurse-call platform that brings room devices, call alerts and operational oversight together as one engineered system.
The work spans Raspberry Pi room controllers, ESP32-S3 and Heltec firmware, sensor and RFID integration, OLED device interfaces, Wi-Fi and SX1262 LoRa communications, durable event handling, and the server-side tools used to commission devices and monitor their state.
This is an active development project. Prototype, firmware and communications testing is not presented as a finished, commissioned or clinically certified nurse-call system.

GOV Council Spending Intelligence
GOV turns published local-authority spending records into a focused research workspace for exploring payments, suppliers, councils and spending patterns while keeping the original source evidence in view.
It is a strong example of Jaguar's data-handling work: finding and recovering inconsistent source files, validating their contents, normalising different council formats, preserving coverage and provenance, and making large transaction datasets practical to search and compare.
WireCord
WireCord is Jaguar Computers' Discord-style platform for private communities. People can create invitation-based servers and rooms, chat in real time, share images and files, and meet using voice, camera video and screen sharing.
The platform also includes unread-message tracking, notifications, replies, reactions, message search, role-based room access, moderation and scheduled meetings for invited guests. It is currently available as a free beta for adults aged 18 and over.
